Radiology

The department has four Magnetic Resonance Imaging units, three Computed Tomography units, two angiography units, two digital mammography units, 12 Doppler Ultrasonography devices, as well as one fluoroscopy unit and many digital x-ray devices.In the Department of Radiology, in addition to radiology courses and practical applications for Faculty of Medicine students, intensive imaging and interventional radiological diagnosis/treatment services are also offered. In addition, radiology technician program students have the opportunity to practice in various units in addition to their theoretical education.The Department of Radiology is one of the most well-established and well-equipped University Hospitals in Turkey, with its academic staff of 9 faculty members, 2 specialists, nearly 40 radiology residents and modern equipment park. Approximately 1500 patients are included in imaging studies every day.
