Korkut Yaltkaya Clinical Electrophysiology Laboratory offers contemporary diagnostic services, including conventional electromyography (EMG), evoked potentials (VEP, SEP, BAEP, MEP), and electroencephalography (EEG). The laboratory is also equipped with advanced technologies that enable studies in peripheral and cortical excitability. Four specialized and experienced technicians provide services in the laboratory.
The Neurology inpatient clinic and outpatient clinics are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Block K. The 41-bed neurology ward, with its diverse patient population, not only contributes to the clinical training of research assistants but also ensures that patients receive treatments informed by the latest scientific and medical advancements.
A total of six outpatient clinics are actively functioning. Additionally, specialized units such as the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Clinic, the Epilepsy Clinic, and the Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Clinic enable research assistants to engage with specific patient populations and conduct focused clinical follow-ups. Long-term monitoring and regular treatment of these patients are maintained systematically.
